89 Pacific Squadron RCACS

89 Pacific Squadron:

Celebrating 74 years!

This site is intended for prospective cadets, their families, new members, and current members of the 89 Pacific Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron.

The huge success of the Air Cadet Programme is the result of the strong partnership between the Department of National Defence (DND) and the civilian Air Cadet League of Canada (ACL). Locally, each Air Cadet Squadron is staffed with officers of the Cadet Instructors Cadre, a sub component of DND and operates with the support of a local sponsoring committee.  Our ACL sponsor is the 89 (Pacific) Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron Support Association.

89 (Pacific) Squadron is based in the Bay Street Armoury; in the heart of Victoria, with a membership of about 95 cadets.

Training (parade) Night is Monday from 6:00 to 9:30pm.

Thursday is Administration Night (with other optional activities)

Other activities such as range and biathlon, band practice, ground school and exercises take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
